This is Bjorn Zeys' Ideal Formation for the 2023 Cambodia SEA Games Mobile Legends National Team

The Indonesian Esports Council (PBESI) has officially announced the composition of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) National Team or National Team on March 2, 2023 for players who will compete in the SEA Games 2023 Cambodia for the Mobile Legends division.

The players sent at the 2023 SEA Games themselves consist of pro players from the three big MLBB esports teams that often dominate MPL Indonesia: RRQ, EVOS Legends, and ONIC Esports.

The following is the composition of the coaches and players that have been inaugurated by the Indonesian Esports Executive Board (PBESI) :

List of 2023 MLBB SEA Games National Team Coaches

  • Bjorn Ong (Zeys) - Coach

  • Stenley Hermawan (TaxStump) - Assistant Coach 1

  • Adi Syofian Asyauri (Adi) - Assistant Coach

Zeys was previously the caretaker of EVOS Legends, together with TaxStump, who currently still serves as a coach on the M1 champion team. Meanwhile, Adi alias Acil, is currently a coach at ONIC Esports, having previously coached RRQ.

The relationship between these two people is indeed close to Zeys. Taxstump has been his right-hand man in EVOS Legends since MPL ID S6. While Adi alias Acil also often jokes with Zeys in several live streaming moments, they also often consider each other 'bestie'.

Then who are the players chosen by these three coaches. A big surprise was made. The roster for the Indonesian MLBB national team is not filled with one team like the IESF. The mix roster strategy for the Indonesian MLBB national team, like the previous two SEA Games, was finally used again by Zeys.

2023 SEA Games MLBB National Team Roster

  • Albert "Alberttt" Neilsen

  • Calvin "Vyn"

  • Jabran "Branz" Wiloko

  • Gill "Sanz"

  • Rizki "Saykots" Iskandar

  • Rachmad "DreamS" Wahyudi

  • Nicky "Kiboy" Fernando

Saykots, Branz, and Dreams are representatives of EVOS Legends, where lastly, they succeeded in making Indonesia proud as champions at the IESF in 2022.

Meanwhile, Alberttt and Vyn are representatives of RRQ, along with Kiboy and Sanz from ONIC Esports, who have also represented Indonesia at the 2022 SEA Games.

The interesting thing that emerges from this composition is that Zeys carries 3 roamers. In contrast to the predictions and even the experience that occurs because usually there will also be a back up for junglers.

This means that Zeys has his own plans for Vynnn, Kiboy, and Dreams at the 2023 SEA Games. Moreover, this has gone through a selection phase that is not for a while. Three roamers means that there are three different brains that will carry out the gameplan as Zeys wishes. But the ideal starting line-up for Zeys is Albert (Jungler), Saykots (Exp Laner), Kiboy (Roamer), Sanz (Midlaner), Branz (Goldlaner).

It is worth waiting for and supporting the actions of the Indonesian MLBB National Team players in the upcoming SEA Games 2023 Cambodia esports branch.
