Roster Lock Schedule for the 2023 Cambodia SEA Games National Team Esports

There are only 2 months left for Cambodia's SEA Games 2023 sporting event to begin. Until now, we don't know who has qualified for the National Training Center to become the national esports team from Indonesia. In fact, it is very necessary that the composition of the national team has been obtained so that the players can prepare themselves in a time that tends to be tight. Fortunately, the Garudaku ESI Instagram account has just announced this matter, namely the roster lock schedule for the Indonesian Esports national team.

From a written statement, it was said that the roster lock for the Indonesian esports national team at the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia would fall on February 28, 2023. The announcement itself will be tentatively notified on March 1, 2023.

"The selection of athletes to be fielded will be determined no later than February 28 2023, and will tentatively be announced on March 1 2023, simultaneously with the official opening of Pelatnas Esports Indonesia for the 23rd SEA Games Cambodia 2023."

The national selection for esports has also been announced. If we look at the timeline, the national selection will be divided into the following 3 periods:

  1. MLBB Men, Valorant, and Crossfire: February 3 – 13, 2023

  2. PUBGM Solo and Squad: 10 – 27 February 2023

  3. MLBB Women: February 10 – 27, 2023

Of the many national selection participants who participated, a number of the best names will be chosen to represent the national team at the 32nd SEA Games. How many participants will be taken from each esports branch are :

  • MLBB Men: 7 Athletes

  • MLBB Women: 7 Athletes

  • PUBGM Solo: 10 Athletes

  • PUBGM Squad: 10 Athletes

  • Crossfire: 7 Athletes

  • Valorant: 7 Athletes

Unfortunately, not all players who were called to take part in the National Selection will be selected. The reason is, of all these players, only seven to ten athletes will be selected, depending on how many are needed. Whoever is elected later, hopefully, can make the name of the country proud and can be a good face for the Indonesian esports scene.
