The International Olympic Committee (IOC) officially announced that March 2, 2023, the Olympic Esports Series 2023 officially begins. All gamers can join in, both pro players and amateurs or the public.
The IOC states that they work closely with International Federations (IFs) and game publishers. It is known that this tournament presents sports-themed game matches, which will be held virtually.
OC said that this was to support the development of virtual sports within the Olympic Movement, which was already on the agenda. Apart from that, it is also a form of continued collaboration with the gaming and esports community.

The qualifying round for archery will take place in the spring of 2023. To take part, players will need a mobile device with an internet connection and the Tictac Bow app, which can be downloaded from app stores.
2. Baseball (World Baseball Softball Confederation, WBSC eBASEBALL™: POWER PROS)

The Cycling Esports World Championship will compete in an exciting new format and unique approach to mixed gender racing in the live finals in Singapore. There will be 4 mixed gender teams that will compete in 5 fast and furious races to fight for the grand prize & be crowned the winner of this Esports Olympiad.

6. Motor sport (Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, Gran Turismo)
